Modern Bouquet Design by Bloomed + Rooted
One of the most meaningful parts of floral design is the moment before installation — when the stems are laid out, colors are balanced, and texture begins to take shape.
Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to design bouquets and arrangements for celebrations, corporate events, and personal milestones throughout Orlando. While every piece is intentional, a few stood out for their color story, movement, and presence.
Here are three of my favorite floral arrangements from this year.
Bold Color with Vertical Movement: A Corporate Statement in Purple & Blue
Designed for a Corporate Event for Orlando City/Pride Soccer
This arrangement was designed for a corporate event and centered around layered purples, lake blues, and crisp whites. The goal was to create something visually impactful from a distance while still feeling refined up close.
We built the foundation with full hydrangea in soft blue and white, layered with ranunculus and anemones for depth. The vibrant green accents added freshness and contrast, while the purple ribbon detail subtly tied everything together.
What makes this design unique is its vertical movement. Tall allium stems and delphinium create height and energy, drawing the eye upward without overwhelming the stage. The structure feels intentional — bold but balanced.
For corporate events, especially larger venues, scale matters. This extra large piece was designed to:
• Read clearly in a spacious room
• Complement brand colors
• Photograph beautifully for event coverage
• Add presence without distracting from the program
This type of floral styling works especially well for executive luncheons, brand activations, and stadium or ballroom settings where visibility and cohesion are key.
Bold Contrast: Red & Blush with Modern Structure
Designed for a Valentine’s Bulk Order
This arrangement embraced bold contrast while maintaining a refined silhouette. Deep red ranunculus were paired with blush garden roses, pale pink tulips, and layered white hydrangea to create a design that felt elegant and polished.
The richness of the red tones added depth and drama, while the blush and soft pinks kept the overall look balanced and modern. A structured glass vase and tailored ribbon detail gave the piece a clean finish.
What makes this arrangement stand out is its intentional color blocking. Instead of blending tones together, the reds and pinks were allowed to breathe — creating dimension and visual movement from every angle.
This style works beautifully for:
• Executive appreciation events
• Elevated brand gifting
• Intimate corporate dinners
• Valentine-season activations
• Private celebrations with a modern aesthetic
Even in natural daylight, the color story holds its shape — bold and not overwhelming, but still tailored.
Elevated Color Story: Orchid & Jewel-Toned Statement Arrangement
Designed for Birthday Celebration
This arrangement was designed around saturation and movement. Layered pink orchids anchor the piece, creating height and boldness, while vibrant purples and fuchsias build depth throughout the base.
Hydrangea, stock, ranunculus, hyacinth, tulips, and textural filler florals were intentionally clustered rather than evenly dispersed. The goal was to create a dynamic composition that feels organic yet structured.
What makes this design stand out is the contrast between delicate orchid petals and the density of the jewel-toned base. The palette is bold without feeling chaotic, and the vertical elements give the arrangement presence from across the room.
This style works beautifully for:
• Brand-forward corporate events
• Launch parties or activations
• Leadership celebrations
• Women-focused networking events
• Modern private gatherings
The bright ribbon detail adds a contemporary finish while reinforcing the color story. It’s expressive, confident, and intentionally layered.

Each arrangement this year carried its own personality — from structured corporate statements to contrast and bold, expressive color stories.
No two designs are ever replicated exactly. Every piece begins with palette, purpose, and space in mind.
Whether designing for a large-scale corporate event or a custom bouquet delivery in Orlando, my approach remains the same: thoughtful composition, intentional color balance, and refined execution.
